"My recovery is going well and I feel much better, but unfortunately I'm not ready to compete yet , which is why I have to withdraw from the grass-court tournaments at Queen's and Wimbledon ," Carlos Alcaraz announced on his Instagram profile. "These are two really special tournaments for me, and I will miss them a lot. We will continue training to return as soon as possible."
The Spanish tennis player suffers from a problem in his right wrist , the precise diagnosis of which has not been revealed for privacy reasons.
Forced to withdraw from the Barcelona tournament in mid-April, Alcaraz had first announced his withdrawal from Madrid, then Rome and Paris, and now from the English grass-court tournaments at Queen's and Wimbledon.
