One month after the death of father Piero , Alberto Angela writes to fans . A long message, posted on social media, to thank "for the incredible and exciting demonstrations of affection " that "have invested our whole family".

Thirty days “are a short time - explains Alberto - to mourn a person so dear. They were intense days, spent at times frantically in the whirlwind of strong emotions experienced and in the management of events ". But they were also days "of pause, of reflection, of listening, of time dedicated to reading all the demonstrations of esteem and affection that have come down to us".

“ I wanted to read them all - explains the divulger - one by one , your messages. And I thank you, in my name and in the name of all our family, for your words. It is beautiful, and a source of great pride, to see that Piero has been part, in one way or another, of the life of all of you . And it is equally nice to note that his desire to transmit the knowledge that he has carried out throughout his life, up to the last day, has generated important results ".

"Some are already ripe fruits - adds Alberto - as evidenced by the many messages of adults who tell that Piero also owes interest in the various 'fields of knowledge'. And, in some cases, of having made it a profession. Others are sprouts , those of the young people he thought of and committed himself to until the last day of his long life ”.

Therefore, thanks to everyone “for the affection, the esteem, the closeness, the warmth that my whole family and I have felt in these difficult days. They have been a huge comfort and an incentive to move forward ”.
