Barring any surprises from his medical, Demi Akarakiri will be Cagliari's first signing for the 2025-2026 season. The 2007-born midfielder completed his medical this morning, which began yesterday, and will sign a contract with the Rossoblu club effective July 1st, the day after his current deal with Everton expires.
In a post on his social media accounts, Akarakiri recently thanked Everton . He played for the Liverpool club's U18 and U21 teams, but was unable to make his first-team debut. He will, however, be able to do so at Cagliari, as president Tommaso Giulini and new sporting director Pietro Accardi hinted on Monday.
In rossoblù, Akarakiri might not find Gianluca Gaetano : Atalanta continues to press for the Neapolitan midfielder.
