Immediately the convocation of the Transport commission and of the Chamber, with the invitation to the regional councilor Giorgio Todde to report on the expensive prices of airline tickets. This is the request of the opposition in the Regional Council with the aim of "reviewing the current announcement and setting maximum ceilings". According to Roberto Li Gioi (M5S) “Sardinia is becoming the island for the rich and this is only the anticipation of what will happen in the summer”. In fact, he explains, "the picture is dramatic: as denounced by the tourism operators, it is happening that on the Easter weekend, to travel to Sardinia, you need four times the amount needed to go to New York or the Maldives".

Gianfranco Ganau (Pd) recalls that "for three years we have been soliciting the council on these issues, but today the discrimination between protected residents and non-residents subject to a free market regime is evident, which involves unacceptable rates: 650 euros for a one way Olbia-Milan and back is an international flight fare ".

For Francesco Agus (Progressives) "we are faced with a system entrusted in fact to the free market without compensation, a system capable of ensuring flights to Sardinians at a controlled price, but which during the high season will have skyrocketing prices for all the others ".

The councilor of the Democratic Party Giuseppe Meloni argues that "this situation was widely foreseen and predictable, and now I don't know if we still have time to run for cover, certainly the commissioner needs to report to understand if we can stop in time and review the call, perhaps on the Spanish model ".
