For the next three years, the workers fired by Air Italy will enter a specific pool "created in order to support their transition to employment". And "the companies in the aviation sector permanently operating on the national territory will primarily draw on the staff to be hired also among workers placed in this basin. We are carrying out a concrete act that removes the uncertainty of thousands of workers and gives a prospect of employment ".

This was announced by the president of the Labor Commission of the Chamber Romina Mura (Pd), announcing an amendment to the draft Milleproroghe reformulated following an interlocution with the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando.

"Together with the parliamentary work of the Pd group with Debora Serracchiani and the precious support of Stefano Fassina, we should thank Minister Orlando who - adds the parliamentarian - involving the Ministry of Transport and Economic Development, has grasped the need for a decisive intervention in a situation now unsustainable. In this way we keep the plug on and the workers do not end up in oblivion but all the more reason continue the announced path of the interministerial table ".

"The staff will be able to access support measures - explains the deputy dem - and will be able to follow training activities relating to specific professional qualifications, to maintain the validity of licenses and certifications and to retrain in view of relocation".
