Skyrocketing fares for passengers not resident on the island and full flights in the days closest to Christmas: if these are the conditions, traveling during the holidays will be – as always – an expensive and demanding undertaking.

A return ticket can cost up to 650 euros, a rate that Ita Airways currently offers on the Milan-Cagliari route. But even the other connections are not cheaper: they range from 444 euros for Rome-Cagliari (always Ita Airways) to 580 euros for Milan-Olbia (EasyJet) for a passenger with a trolley departing on 21 December and returning on 2 January.

As long as there is room: on certain dates tickets for flights under territorial continuity (and not only these) are sold out.
