«Sardinia must focus on the ecodigital transition for the development of its agricultural sector». This was said by Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, former Minister of Agriculture and Environment, now president of the Univerde Foundation, who met the young producers of the organization in Quartu, as part of the Coldiretti Campagna Amica market.

According to Pecoraro Scanio, «enhancing the vitality of rural contexts with digitalisation means promoting awareness of the strong identity link between agricultural activities and landscape and biodiversity conservation actions. Sardinia must not lose this challenge."

Also speaking at the event were Luca Saba (regional director of Coldiretti Sardinia); Mariafrancesca Serra (national president of Coldiretti Women); Nicola Stefano Tuveri (regional delegate for Young Enterprises of Sardinia); Debora Castangia (chestnut grower, Giovani Impresa Nuoro-Ogliastra); Diego Lai (founder and CEO Autentico Srl); Frediano Augusto Mura (CEO Lampus Thunder Gin).
