The history of American music in an original production, from the rural blues tradition to the rock revolution: the supergroup Black'n'Blue comes to the Bflat on Sunday, with special guest and Grammy winner MB Gordy, for a new event in the autumn finale of the "KME Grammy", the October section of the Karel Music Expo 2025.

After a sensational premiere this Thursday at the Teatro Massimo, featuring Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla and his backing quartet—Nicolás Rainone, Juan Luqui, Barbarita Palacios, and Javier Casalla—Vox Day has another special date lined up for Sunday. Starting at 9 p.m., the venue on Via del Pozzetto will feature the Black'n'Blue project led by Los Angeles-based drummer, composer, and producer MB Gordy, who has collaborated with legendary names such as Frank Zappa, Rita Coolidge, and Green Day and won the 2019 Grammy Award for Best New Age Album with the ensemble Opium Moon, coming close for a second time in 2022.

But he's not the only exceptional member, as Cagliari-born guitarist Mick Taras also features, having lived in California for over thirty years, where he's built a career spanning numerous albums, soundtracks, and collaborations with leading artists like Neil Young and Gloria Estefan. Rounding out the lineup are gospel singer and motivational speaker Daryl Black, from the United States, guitarist Samuele Dessì, and pianist Salvatore Spano, in a reinterpretation and tribute to transgenerational classics from rock music and the like.

The final KME Grammy date is scheduled for November 10th, again at Bflat, where another great musician will grace the Cagliari stage: Chris Tile, mandolinist, singer, and composer, founder of the bands Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek, and a past collaborator with Yo-Yo Ma and Fiona Apple. For the occasion, Tile will perform excerpts from his solo recordings of Bach's Sonatas and Partitas, blending classical, folk, and improvisation.
