The entry into the Sardinian Regional Council of Paolo Congiu, first of the not elected in the Fortza Paris list at the 2019 regional councils, will be formalized at the next session after the 28 session dedicated to Sa Die de Sa Sardigna. He will take the place of Valerio De Giorgi, the Misto councilor who ended up under house arrest on 22 March on charges of corruption and exchange vote.

Today the Presidency of the Council of Ministers notified the Sardinian Assembly of the suspension of De Giorgi due to the Severino law. In turn, the president Michele Pais has already given a mandate to the president of the elections council, Giovanni Antonio Satta (Idea Sardegna), to convene the body to identify the first of the non-elected on the Fortza Paris list.

The notification of the suspension of Antonello Peru is also expected in the next few days, the councilor of UDC-Sardinia in the center sentenced in first instance for attempted extortion and who, again as a result of Severino, will be replaced by the first of the non-elected on the Forza Italia list in the district of Sassari, Marco Tedde.
