A moved greeting from the Sardinian sporting world but not only for the president (and esteemed entrepreneur) who brought the rossoblù team back to Serie A in 1990 with Claudio Ranieri as coach. And Ranieri himself, taken in 1988 by Campania in Serie C1 and architect of the historic double promotion, was present at the funeral together with today's players Deiola, Kourfalidis and Pavoletti, in addition to the president Tommaso Giulini and many of his players and coaches, including Gianluca Festa and Gianfranco Matteoli, not only from the rossoblùs but also from Atletico Calcio.

The memory. «We remember him for his great humility, his passion for the rossoblù colors and the game of football», the greeting of the current patron Giulini. «He did a lot for Cagliari: he took the team in a moment of difficulty and brought them back to Serie A. A special way to remember him? I think it would be nice to be able to dedicate his return to A this year».
