The collaboration agreement between the Department of Agriculture and Agro-Pastoral Reform and the Sardinia Regional Chefs Union (URCSA) was signed in Cagliari, at the headquarters of the Accademia del Buon Gusto.

The main objective of the agreement is to promote and protect the food and wine culture of Sardinia in Italy and around the world.

The two bodies, through the Laore agency, therefore undertake to organize and promote activities that aim to protect the territory, improve and guarantee the quality of primary production and gastronomic culture understood as historical and cultural heritage.

It involves planning, promoting and undertaking, among others, common activities aimed at collaborating for the implementation of shared purposes in specific fields of action and important will be the classification and valorisation information along the product supply chain, to allow traceability and transparency in the reference market as well as their diffusion with particular regard to the offer of typical or local ones, also through the network of activities or restaurant structures.

An important moment, underlines the department, "which also passes through the chefs, who are the ambassadors of Made in Sardinia in the world".
