A dull Torres loses 1-0 in Gubbio

Dull evening for the vice-leaders who lost 1-0 in Gubbio after a match with very few ideas from both teams. Second place remains solid even if the Carrara team wins and moves to -8.

Giorico's absence due to suspension forces Greco to modify the midfield: he chooses the muscles of Masala and Lora, with Mastinu acting as director.

In the 10th minute the ball is stolen by the Sassari team and Scotto serves Masala in the area but the control is faulty. In the 12th minute Scotto triangulates long with Fischnaller and shoots, but it is central. Nice restart in the 15th minute with several touches and then from the left Zambataro tries a curling shot but misses the target.

Gubbio takes courage but the Sasari defenders are careful in closing. Except in the 28th minute when Bernadotto escapes Dametto and shoots from the edge: out of bounds but due to a deflection. In the 34th minute I throw a ball into the area for Udoh (Dametto is distracted) but the connection is imprecise and the defense recovers. In the 35th minute Mastinu gets hurt (right adductor) and is replaced by Cester. In the 38th minute Scotto from the left back for Minta who at the far post, instead of looking for the goal even from a decentralized position, attempts an imporbable tower for a teammate in the center. Nice free-kick in the 45th minute but Idda's header has no force.

The second half opens with a shot from Fischnaller, angled but understandable. In the 49th minute Udoh receives a short clearance from Dametto on the left and goes for the cross, making a complete mistake. Scotto tries in the 55th minute with a torpedo from 20 meters, angled and Vettorel rejects the ball with some difficulty.

In the 60th minute Di Massimo launches Bernadotto who sprints from the midfield in vain, chased by Antonelli and Idda and on Zaccagno's exit he scores the opening ball. Razor from the new substitute Nunziatini in the 65th minute with the ball touching the right post. Scotto's gore was central in the 72nd minute following Cester's right corner.

In the 86th minute Liviero shoots towards goal from the right, blocks the goalkeeper, Ruocco tries to head it inside the area, but Vettorel blocks again.
