A jazz legend, and who better to pay homage to her than the Overmiles ? The band that opened Miles Davis's last Italian tour will arrive on Friday the 20th at Bflat in Cagliari , in an evening entirely dedicated to the extraordinary career of the American jazz musician. See you at 9:30 pm , at the usual address at Via del Pozzetto 9 in the Quartiere del Sole district.

Overmiles, comprised of Gianluca Mosole (guitar and keyboards), Paolo Carletto (bass), Michele Tedesco (trumpet), and Nicholas Kocks (drums), saw their lives change in November 1987, when they opened for Davis at the Italian dates at the PalaTrussardi in Milan and the PalaEur in Rome. Sharing a musical culture born from the genius and blend of jazz, funk, and rock, the band decided from that moment on to dedicate themselves entirely to that sound.

With the strong belief that Davis' artistic message still retains all its strength and relevance today, Overmiles was born . Fifty years after the master's death, they now pay homage with a concept band whose musical core is the exploration of what the sounds adopted by Davis today could have been .
