The Berlin Zoo celebrates the huge primate
Fatou, a lowland gorilla believed to be the oldest specimen of its species in the world, has just celebrated its 65th birthday at the Berlin Zoo.
Celebrated with a rice, fruit and lettuce cake.
"Our lady Gorilla is celebrating her 65th birthday today, which makes her the oldest Gorilla in the world," the zoo wrote on Instagram.
"Again this year the traditional birthday cake could not be missing. The birthday meal is always something very special for Fatou," said the zoo.
The photos show the huge primate enjoying a cake decorated with berries and fruits with the inevitable symbol of his 65 years.
