Zeddiani, preparations are in full swing for the widespread exhibition in homage to the artist Veronica Serra

So they tell Zeddiani when they talk about Veronica Serra, aka Aunt Veronica. That's why once again the community mobilizes to remember her. The fourth edition of the exhibition held in homage to the naïve artist from Zeddiano known and appreciated throughout the island will be staged on 8 October.

The event, organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco this year will also celebrate the centenary of the birth. For the whole day Zeddiani will show visitors the works of Aunt Veronica. It is an art exhibition that involves the community: along the streets and in the houses of the town it will be possible to admire around 300 works owned by Zeddian collectors.

Many beautiful paintings on masonite and canvas, cork and wood. There will also be statues, pumpkins and tiles skillfully decorated by the artist. To do all this, however, the Municipality is asking for help from the citizens. A few days ago an expression of interest was published asking whoever owns other works by Zia Veronica to participate in the initiative. The traveling and widespread exhibition will include private homes open to visitors, exhibitions outside the houses and installations in the common areas identified in strategic points of the town.
