“Aaahhhyaaaak!”: preceded by his well-known war cry, an athletic hero is about to arrive in the city wearing a red shirt with a yellow circle inside where the Thunderbird is depicted.
He is more at ease in the Darkwood forest, which is why he will stay in Sassari for two days, on 16 and 17 June, but on the 18th he will arrive in the thermal baths of Casteldoria, in Viddalba.
The " Rendez-vous degli Amici di Zagor " is back for the sixth edition, a three-day event dedicated to the famous comic book hero created by Sergio Bonelli (under the pseudonym of Guido Nolitta) in 1961 and which will reach the 700 mark at the end of the year numbers.
The guests
Present Moreno Burattini, author of Zagor since 1991 and editorial curator of the series; Alessandro Piccinelli, who succeeded Galieno Ferri for the creation of the covers; Walter Venturi, designer of various Bonelli characters; Antonio Lucchi from Sassari, who also created a graphic novel on Leonardo da Vinci for Bonelli; Pasquale Del Vecchio, designer for Nick Raider and Tex; Marcello Mangiantini, who designs for Dragonero as well as for Zagor; Marco Ghion, who collaborates with the great Bruno Bozzetto; Bruno Enna, another Sassari well-known in the world of comics who divides his time between Dylan Dog and the characters of Walt Disney.
The program
Friday 16 June at 7 pm meeting with the authors at Quod Design in Sassari. Saturday in the "Figari" art high school in Sassari, starting at 10.30, presentation of the artists, awarding of the "Talking clouds on the island that exists" prize and the "Sardinia-land of adventure" competition reserved for high school students, from 4 pm presentation of the works of the artists present.
Sunday meeting in the woods of the Casteldoria thermal baths with a visit to Zagor's hut, canoeing on the Coghinas river, trappers' lunch and signing copies.
