Winds of war are blowing over Iran , with diplomacy now hanging by a thread and foreigners starting to leave the country .

"I would like not to use" military action against Iran, Donald Trump said today, but "sometimes it has to be done," specifying that he is ready for new talks in the next few hours.

Meanwhile, an IAEA report has emerged according to which the Iranians have stored uranium enriched to 60% : therefore, they would be close to the 90% needed to produce the atomic bomb in the underground site of Isfahan.

Beijing has already urged its own people to leave "as soon as possible," and the Farnesina has reiterated the same invitation to Italians, specifying that wherever possible, they should "leave the country" while exercising "caution throughout the region due to possible new military activities."

London has also already announced the temporary withdrawal of its diplomatic staff , while Washington has reduced the staff at its embassy in Jerusalem amid concerns over possible retaliation by Tehran against Israel in the event of a US attack.

Rubio will meet with Netanyahu on Monday. Meanwhile, Pakistan is bombing Kabul and declaring "open war" on the Taliban .
