Donald Trump didn't rape, but sexually assaulted writer Jean Carroll in a department store dressing room in 1996 . This is the verdict reached by the jury in the civil trial held in New York against the tycoon.

Trump was also found guilty of defamation, for denying the episode and calling his accuser a "liar".

According to the verdict, the former US president will have to pay an indemnity of 5 million dollars.
