Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in Russia's Leningrad region overnight, Ukrainska Pravda reported.

A chemical plant in Perm Krai , 1,800 km from the Ukrainian border, was also reportedly hit, the Kyiv Independent writes.

Yesterday, Ukrainian intelligence drones hit another oil facility in Ufa, 1,400 kilometers from the border . The attacks caused explosions and fires.

The final target achieved would be one of the largest oil refineries in Russia . It is located in the city of Kirishi, in the Leningrad Region, and is a subsidiary of Surgutnaftogaz.

The plant has a refining capacity of over 10 million tons of oil per year and produces a wide range of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel.
