The White House aims to reach a truce agreement between Ukraine and Russia by April 20, which this year coincides with Easter for both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, while Vladimir Putin "seems to be in no hurry."

Bloomberg reports this, citing sources close to the dossier, adding that the US recognizes "that the timing could slip."

Today in Riyadh there is a meeting between the delegations of the United States and Ukraine, while tomorrow, also in Saudi Arabia, a meeting is scheduled between the delegations of Washington and Moscow.

Russia, meanwhile, continues to bomb. In fact, in recent days the raids have intensified: this week, Zelensky reports, about 1,100 attack drones, 15 missiles of various types and 1,580 aerial bombs have been used.

The Ukrainian president also calls for tougher and more effective sanctions against "Russian terrorists", "new solutions and new pressure on Moscow are needed to stop these attacks, and the Ukrainian army must be strengthened".
