More blood and destruction in Ukraine after a new wave of night attacks by Russia. More than 12 victims, including children. As reported by the Ukrainian Air Force this morning, 45 missiles and 266 kamikaze drones were shot down, launched en masse against civilian and military infrastructure in almost the entire country.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force’s Telegram, the attack involved a total of 69 missiles and 298 Shahed drones , which hit most of the regions. “Enemy air strikes were reported in 22 areas of the territory,” the statement reads, “while fragments of downed missiles and drones fell in 15 different locations,” causing serious damage and casualties.

Among the areas affected was the northwestern region of Jitomir, where an attack killed three young civilians: two children aged 8 and 12 and a 17-year-old boy. But the death toll is said to exceed 12. Ten more people were injured, according to Ukrainian emergency services.

President Volodymyr Zelensky , speaking on his social media channels this morning, launched a new appeal to the international community, calling for more decisive action to stop Russian aggression : "Without really strong pressure on Russian leaders, this brutality cannot be stopped. Sanctions would certainly help," he said, addressing in particular the United States, the European Union and "all those who seek peace", urging them to demonstrate determination to force the Kremlin to end the war.
