Two of the Global Sumud Flotilla activists intercepted by Israeli forces in international waters in the Mediterranean between Wednesday and Thursday "will be taken to Israel for questioning" as they are considered to be responsible for suspicious activities, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The suspects are Saif Abu Keshek, "suspected of affiliation with a terrorist organization," and Thiago Ávila, "suspected of illegal activities," the statement adds.

In the note, the Israeli ministry also thanked the Greek government for accepting the disembarkation of the remaining Flotilla activists in Crete.
