WE RECOVERED HIM! My fellow Americans, in the last few hours, the United States Armed Forces have completed one of the most daring search and rescue operations in U.S. history for one of our incredible crew officers —who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel—and who I am thrilled to report is now SAFE AND SAFE!

Donald Trump wrote this on Truth, in a post dedicated to the rescue of the second member of the F-15E downed on Friday in Iran. "This brave warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, hunted by our adversaries who, hour by hour, were closing in; however, he was never truly alone, as his Commander in Chief, the Secretary of War, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his fellow soldiers monitored his whereabouts around the clock, meticulously planning his rescue," the tycoon added in the post.

" At my direction, the U.S. military has dispatched dozens of aircraft, equipped with the world's most lethal weapons, to recover him. He has sustained injuries but will make a full recovery. This miraculous search and rescue operation builds on yesterday's success in recovering another courageous pilot, news we did not immediately confirm, so as not to jeopardize the success of our second rescue operation ," Trump continued, adding that "this is the first time in military history that two U.S. pilots have been rescued—in two separate operations—in the heart of enemy territory."

WAR IN IRAN, ALL THE NEWS

Iran denies the rescue claim and instead claims to have hit two helicopters and a plane participating in the rescue operation. "The enemy's desperate attempts to rescue its downed fighter pilot were thwarted by the grace of Almighty God, divine aid, and the timely actions and joint operations of Islamic fighters from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, the heroic Basij, and security forces," said Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Unified Command Headquarters, according to Iranian media reports. "The enemy's attacking aircraft, two Black Hawk helicopters and a C-130 military transport plane, were hit and engulfed in flames south of Isfahan."

The Pasdaran spoke of "a trap set for the enemy American plane that had entered Iran to rescue the pilot." The United States, according to a statement carried by the Tasnim news agency, "has once again suffered a humiliating defeat." And while US President Donald Trump "claimed a special operation to rescue the pilot," it was merely "an attempt to conceal his heavy defeat."
