US President Donald Trump has just landed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a mission to the Middle East region.

A purple carpet was rolled out beneath Air Force One as Trump stepped out, greeted by the country's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman .

This is his first major diplomatic trip abroad of his second term and will also include visits to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
