The 2022 Nobel Peace Prize awarded with the auspices of peace in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The award was won by a Belarusian activist and two humanitarian organizations, one Russian and one Ukrainian.

As announced by the Oslo commission chaired by Berit Reiss-Andersen, it is Ales Bialiatski - a dissident who ended up in prison, also awarded for his work with the Viasna Human Rights Center of Belarus - and the NGOs Russia's Memorial and Ukraine's Center for civil Liberties.
