Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has dismissed as "baseless" accusations from five European countries that Russia poisoned Alexei Navalny, the opposition leader who died exactly two years ago in a penal colony, Russian state media reported.

"We, of course, do not accept these accusations," Peskov said, quoted by RIA Novosti, "and we do not agree with them. We consider them biased and unfounded. And, in fact, we categorically reject them."
