The United States and China are preparing to “finalize the details” of a trade deal ahead of the “highly anticipated meeting” between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping in South Korea .

A US official announced this. "We are finalizing the final details of the agreement for management to review," said US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Malaysia.

And perhaps this is also the reason for the confirmation of the face-to-face meeting between the leaders of the superpowers, who are negotiating tariffs, imports, and technologies: Beijing has not yet announced it, even though Washington is taking it for granted, while the president is busy with his Asian tour, with certain stops in Japan, South Korea, and, of course, Malaysia.
