Concern is growing for five more Italians in Nepal , in addition to the two already considered missing . As stated in a note from the Farnesina , "there is no news of seven Italians, including Marco Di Marcello and Markus Kirchler (in the Yalung Ri area, considered missing)."

It should also be remembered that "local authorities have so far confirmed the deaths of three Italian mountaineers: Alessandro Caputo, Stefano Farronato and Paolo Cocco."

The Consul General of Italy in Calcutta, responsible for Nepal, Riccardo Dalla Costa, has arrived in Kathmandu, where the research is continuing, for coordination with the Nepalese authorities and the research groups, in conjunction with the Farnesina.
