Shooting in Chicago during the 4th of July parade: 6 dead and several injured

"At first I thought they were fireworks, I didn't realize they were gunshots," a witness told CNN. "Then I started seeing bloody people screaming and running and then I understood. It was horrible ."
For the police at the moment it is a "completely random act", but there are several cities that have canceled the events scheduled for July 4th .
