More horror and destruction in Ukraine , where during the night numerous explosions shook the capital Kiev .
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko spoke of debris from a missile shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft missiles in the Darnytskyi district which would have hit a residential building causing two injuries . Soon after, a fire broke out and one of the main roads in the center of the capital was also damaged.
Lviv , the largest city in western Ukraine, was left 90% without electricity after a Russian bombing of its energy infrastructure. Explosions are also reported by governors and mayors in Kharkiv , (east), Odessa (south), Sumy (northeast). Power outages were announced in Odessa , Dnipropetrovsk and Kryvyi Rih regions.
Presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak tweeted that more than 120 missiles were fired into Ukraine this morning from Russia.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones have been shot down in the Klintsovsky district of the Bryansk region, on the border with Ukraine .
The Bryansk region has a "yellow" level of terrorist threat , the Russian agency claims, explaining that it implies the strengthening of the work of the special services and citizens are advised to be vigilant.
