New, massive Russian attack on several cities in Ukraine, including the capital Kiev.

«Russian terrorists have attacked Ukraine again with missiles. Several cities: Kiev, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of various types. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

A children's hospital in Kiev was also among the targets: "There are people trapped under the rubble of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital," adds Zelensky.

There are over 30 confirmed deaths in the capital, but victims have also been recorded in other locations, such as Dnipro, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rig.

The leader of Kiev also released a video of the hospital hit, accompanied by these words: «Russia cannot help but know where its missiles fly and must answer fully for all its crimes: against people, against children, against humanity in general. It is very important that the world is not silent now and that everyone sees what Russia is and what it is doing."

«I am struck by the images of the bombings in Kiev which also hit a children's hospital. War crimes that must be condemned by the entire international community. The Italian government will continue to defend the sovereignty of Ukraine and its people", Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani commented on the raids.

For its part, Moscow instead claimed that the damage in Kiev was caused not by a Russian missile, but by the fall of a Ukrainian anti-aircraft rocket.
