Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions on Andrey Bogdan, his former chief of staff, and four other people.

Ukrainian media reported that Bogdan has been subjected to 17 restrictions, including the freezing of his assets, the suspension of his financial obligations, and a ban on land purchases. He has also been permanently stripped of all state honors.

A message posted on the president's website said the actions of the individuals in question "threaten the national interests, security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."
