According to reports, the preliminary agreement would address some Iranian demands regarding traffic control rights in the Strait that it lacked before the war. The agreement under discussion would consist of a 60-day interim mechanism, potentially extendable.
The Strait of Hormuz "will reopen very soon or they will suffer a very severe blow, and then the Strait will open," US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News, assuring once again that Iran "will never have a nuclear weapon."
