Netanyahu says Israel is preparing a "total closure" of the West Bank in response to the Palestinian armed attack on Israeli troops in Hebron, which left five soldiers wounded, near

a roadblock.

“Following the attack, I ordered the immediate demolition of a large number of illegal Arab buildings located in the immediate vicinity of the site of the attack in the West Bank,” far-right minister Bezalel Smotrich added on X.

The prime minister, however, explained: "We will implement the offensive and effective model we applied in the refugee camps within the cities as well: the IDF will enter the neighborhoods from which the attackers originated, evacuate residents, search homes individually, and destroy terrorist infrastructure. We are ready for a large-scale operation in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank)."

"A few words," the prime minister added, "for our heroic settlers. Resist on the front lines. You are an example to Israel. We will destroy terrorist infrastructure and build settlement infrastructure."
