Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that former US President Bill Clinton knew about the pedophile activities of US financier Jeffrey Epstein, and "Hillary Clinton's testimony before Congress is false."

"Bill Clinton knew everything, and Hillary Clinton knows it too. And what she said yesterday is a complete lie," Zakharova said, quoted by the Tass news agency.

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman emphasized that, according to Hillary Clinton, the former US president had traveled on Epstein's plane, the Lolita Express, whose name is a clear reference to Vladimir Nabokov's novel. "I want to emphasize that the name 'Lolita Express' for Epstein's plane has not appeared recently. 'Lolita Express' is a name we learned not from Epstein's files, but rather the name used by the people who flew on that plane," Zakharova added, noting: "These people had no doubts about the origin of the plane's name."

Outside the room where she was questioned for hours about her possible ties to Epstein, at the urging of Republican members of Congress, Hillary Clinton appeared confident and clear-headed. She expressed confidence that her husband knew nothing about Epstein's crimes.

In her initial statement, the former secretary of state said she didn't know Epstein and pointed the finger at Trump: "He should be questioned under oath." Just as "whoever asked when there would be a party" on the pedophile's island should be questioned, referring to Elon Musk.

The released Epstein files have in fact highlighted an email exchange between the billionaire and the pedophile, with Musk asking when parties were planned on the island.
