The investigations of the Paris Prosecutor's Office continue to shed light on the heinous murder of Lola Daviet, the 12-year-old girl found lifeless inside a plastic trunk in the French capital .

In the last few hours, the police have arrested the alleged perpetrator, a 24-year-old of Algerian origin, homeless, named Dahbia, suffering from mental problems.

Another woman was also stopped with her - it seems her sister - and two men , who would have helped her in some way during the hours of the crime. They would all be outcasts used to hang out in the suburbs of Bois Colombes.

According to the first findings, the child was approached by the 24-year-old last Friday, after leaving school.

What happened then is still being rebuilt. It is certainly known that the little girl was suffocated and then slaughtered and her body was then locked up in a large plastic container under the house where she lived with her family.

But the prosecutor also speculates on the crimes of rape and torture.

After the alarm for the disappearance of the girl, raised by family members who did not see her return from school, the 24-year-old was then seen alone, barefoot, on the sidewalk, between a baker shop and a tobacconist. Next to her was the heavy plastic container which she could not carry after asking, in vain, for the help of some passers-by. Then the young woman left and the macabre discovery was made.

It is not clear what the motive for the brutal murder was. As mentioned, the 24-year-old was already known for her mental problems. Furthermore, the role played by the alleged accomplices still in custody should be understood.
