Italian businessman shot dead

An Italian businessman, owner of a luxury hotel, was shot dead in Palenque, Mexico, where he lived.

Raphael Alessandro Tunesi was on his way to pick up his daughters from school when someone shot him. The body was found in the car with several injuries.

The victim, owner of the luxury hotel Quinta Chanabnal in Palenque, had lived in Chiapas for several years and was considered an expert on Mayan culture.
