Israeli minister Ben Gvir attacks Italy in a post on X following the news that the Rome prosecutor's office has registered him as a suspect in the Flotilla affair , joking: " The country of the boot has become the country of slippers ."
" Israel ," he added, quoted by Israeli media, " is not a punching bag for a bunch of lying terrorist supporters who fabricate slanders and lies against our fighters. I will not be deterred by this or any other investigation and will continue to proudly stand alongside our fighters."
