"Over 2,500 terrorist targets have been hit in the Strip since the start of operations in Gaza in attacks by land, sea and air." This was announced by the military spokesperson of the Israeli army, according to which soldiers are continuing "to eliminate terrorists in close combat and air strikes on Hamas infrastructure, weapons depots, observation posts and command and control centers in the Strip" .

Hamas, for its part, denounces the bombing of three schools, while the Israeli army accuses Hamas of shooting on the open road to let the displaced people pass.

Dozens of people were killed (51 according to Palestinian sources) and a hundred were injured in an Israeli army air attack on the Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.

On the diplomatic front, the US is working for a truce and, in particular, to obtain "humanitarian pauses", i.e. ceasefires to allow relief to the civilian population.

American President Joe Biden and his Secretary of State Antony Blinken have hinted that there are "glimpses" to be able to reach the goal.
