Houthi militias are targeting Saudi Arabia. Yemeni armed forces spokesman Yahya Saree said a ballistic missile was fired that hit King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The attack, Saree wrote on X, was "successful" and caused "damage and disruption to air traffic."
Following the attack, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh urged passengers to contact their airlines directly before traveling to the airport. "We would like to inform passengers of the need to contact their airlines directly and check flight status before traveling to the airport," the notice posted online read.
After the anti-aircraft fire was activated, Saudi civil defense explained, material damage was reported to a kindergarten and a medical complex following the interception of another ballistic missile.
