Mystery in the US surrounding the death of Cheslie Kryst.
Miss America in 2019, Kryst died at the age of 30 throwing herself off the top floors of the skyscraper where she lived in New York, on 42nd street.
It happened on Sunday morning: the young woman, who lived on the ninth floor of a 60-story building, according to local media reports, was alone when she threw herself into the void.
She was last seen on the 29th floor.
In a note found in her apartment, the former Miss America explains that she wants to leave all her belongings to her mother, but no explanation for the terrible gesture.
A few hours before her death, the young woman had posted a photo on Instagram accompanied by the words: "May this day bring you rest and peace".
