The Israeli army's offensive in the Strip continues. According to reports from the media of the Jewish State, Tel Aviv's armed forces blew up the Hamas parliament building in Gaza, which it captured in recent days.
Meanwhile, negotiations for the release of the hostages continue.
Hamas would have accepted the general lines of an agreement with Israel which provides for the release of around 50 hostages in exchange for a three-day truce. Reuters reports it.
In line with the deal, Israel will also have to release some Palestinian women and children from Israeli prisons and increase the amount of humanitarian assistance allowed into the Palestinian enclave.
