A 57-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing an explosion in the Ratingen skyscraper near Dusseldorf, Germany.

According to Bild , twelve people were injured in the explosion, including ten firefighters and two policemen : 8 of them would be in danger of life.

The body of the mother of the attacker was found in the apartment: the woman had probably been dead for some time.

According to initial information, police and firefighters were alerted by a person residing in an apartment on Berliner Strasse. When they tried to open the door there was a detonation: the floor of the house had been doused with petrol or other flammable material, writes Bild.

The 57-year-old arrested, according to what emerged from social networks, in the past would have sympathized with the deniers of Covid . Stopped by the police, he was taken away from the facility with serious injuries.
