From the island to Norway by bicycle: the feat of Alberto Murgia, a 19 year old from Villacidro

It is the undertaking carried out by Alberto Murgia, a 19 year old from Villacidro . He left Sardinia in October and traveled thousands of kilometers to the North Cape . From there the climb towards the center arriving at Gol in the Hallingdal valley, braving temperatures of almost 20 degrees below zero.
Here, Murgia, knowing of the presence of two Sardinians in the village , Danilo Dettori and his wife Erika Sechi, managers of the "Casa nostra" pizzeria, did not fail to stop in their restaurant, where true Sardinian hospitality triumphed.
And Dettori himself told it on his Facebook page: «We are very happy to have hosted Alberto, we took the opportunity to let him taste our pizza and a good lasagna». «This morning at 8 – he continues – in the darkness and the frost he set off again with his bike loaded with all the essentials to be able to undertake such an extreme journey. In these two days we talked a lot and he answered all our questions and curiosities."
And then: «Alberto, despite being only 19 years old, taught us that in life we need the courage to face challenges and that any of us can do it. Just try." There was no shortage of good wishes from Dettori for the continuation of the young man's tour, including hundreds of shares and "likes".
