Forty school principals were injured during student protests in France, which escalated into violence and destruction, according to Education Minister Edouard Geffray , interviewed this morning by Bfmtv. "Among the 65 public education employees injured, 40 are school principals," the minister specified.

Today Geffray will receive student and parent associations in Paris for a meeting following yesterday's massive student demonstration , which degenerated into violence and devastation across France.

Since the beginning of the week, over a hundred schools have suffered serious damage.
