The flotilla carrying activists and humanitarian aid headed for Gaza was attacked during the night .

One of its vessels was hit "by what is suspected to be a drone," the complaint states, while it was in Tunisian waters , near Sidi Bou Said. A fire was quickly extinguished, according to witnesses on the scene.

The vessel affected is the "Family Boat" or "Familia Madeira," which also includes activist Greta Thunberg. It's a 35-meter vessel flying the Portuguese flag, "carrying members of the GSF steering committee," activists say.

The organization Global Sumud Flotilla, following the denial of the Tunisian National Guard, which declared that it had not detected "any drone," has published footage from security cameras aboard the 'Family' vessel that "confirms the attack."

In videos posted online on X, a person on board the vessel can be seen suddenly looking up in fear, followed by a loud crash and a flash of flame; then panic breaks out on the ship, with another person shouting "fire, fire!" and the first person saying, "We've been hit."

Organizers of the Gaza-bound expedition said all passengers and crew were safe.
