"This is just the beginning. What happened this week is just a small part of what awaits Europe in the near future. Very soon we will blow up your planes, cruise ships, subway stations, and trains."
This is the content of an email sent to various newspapers , the Financial Times reports. The sender claims responsibility for the bomb threats on European flights , calling himself "one of the leaders of the group responsible" for the threats .
And he warns that false alarms will soon become real attacks.
According to an official at Irish public broadcaster RTE, the message was sent to 18 media outlets . The authenticity of the claim has not been verified.
Meanwhile , "Stato Maschile," the misogynistic extremist group named in false bomb threats launched this week against Italian airports, has denied any connection with the false alarms that have caused flight disruptions across Europe .
In response to the BBC's Russian report, a Telegram account—one of many linked to the so-called "Male State" and its founder Vladislav Pozdnyakov—derided any suggestion that the group was involved in sending the email threats. "Which Male State? Where have you seen it? It hasn't existed for many years," the message on the channel read.
