I never thought I'd be attacked by a shark, especially when I was close to shore on a crowded beach. Fortunately, my baby and I are fine. I was rescued promptly, and the surgery to repair my poor, bitten leg went well." This was written on social media by Sardinian journalist Eleonora Boi, wife of basketball player Danilo Gallinari and pregnant with her third child, after being attacked by a shark while swimming in the sea off Isla Verde, Puerto Rico.

"Now I just have to recover from the terrible scare and try to forgive the great friend who betrayed me. As for the shark, you'll hear from my lawyers soon," jokes Boi, adding: "I thank you all for your overwhelming love and for caring for us with a message or a prayer. I thank my husband, who, despite marrying Fantozzi-Boi, has given me all his love and so much courage. Today we even missed the Bad Bunny concert, but we shouldn't get our hopes up, it's only for a short time."
