A drone launched from Lebanon has hit the private home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea , about 57 km north of Tel Aviv, without causing any injuries. Three drones were launched from Lebanon, two were intercepted, the other reached the home of the prime minister.
"A drone - said the prime minister's spokesman - was launched towards the prime minister's home in Caesarea, Netanyahu and his wife Sara were not at home."
It is the first time that a target directly linked to Netanyahu has been hit.
“Iran tried to eliminate the prime minister,” a senior Israeli government official said.
"Nothing will discourage us, we will continue until victory", the Prime Minister's brief comment.
A video was posted on social media by some relatives of the hostages who were demonstrating in front of the prime minister's house: the images show several ambulances and security personnel. The public TV Kan showed the drone arriving in the area.
