Jessica Moretti looked at her burning bar and cried. She saw the injured: she didn't help anyone. We were burned next to her, almost dead: she didn't even ask us how we were. She stared at the place and turned her back on us. I find that unacceptable .
Roze, 18, who emerged from a coma on Friday after four weeks, spoke out. The girl, injured in the Crans Montana massacre, is in the university clinic in Liège, where she was interviewed by Belgian television station RTBF: "I understand the concern for property, but when you hear dozens of minors screaming in pain next to you, you try to help them and call an ambulance. She called the fire department to limit the damage to the premises ."
Switzerland is still mourning its victims and pointing the finger at the Morettis and the authorities, who are accused of failing to implement safety controls.
Meanwhile, the Sion magistrates' investigation continues. A 170-seat courtroom has been set up on the Sion university campus for the third interrogation of the Constellation owners, on Wednesday, February 11th and Thursday, February 12th. The prosecutor's office's offices are too cramped to accommodate the families' dozens of lawyers.
The other two new suspects in the inquiry into the New Year's Eve fire in Crans-Montana, in which 40 people died and 116 were injured, will also be heard in the same venue: on Friday 6 February it will be the turn of Christophe Balet, current head of public safety for the municipality of the ski resort , and on Monday 9 February it will be the turn of his predecessor Ken Jacquemoud .
